- films - no subtitles, pay close attention to words, not just overall gist
- homework - fill in blanks, etc. - Read and understand the sentences. Don't just mechanically fill in the correct form of the verb or adjective or whatever.
- Read - books, articles, magazines, comic books, newspapers, interesting web sites
