  • Distributed fiche "problems" False Friends can lead you astray"- students read all and highlighted the 5 - 10 most important expressions for them.
  • Worked in groups with similar thesis topics for "Pourquoi est-ce que c'est important de lire Au Revoir les Enfants aujourd'hui?" using a graphic organizer to plan the essay.
  • Devoirs: Continue planning dissertation.  Find 3 proofs for one of your 2 supporting arguments.
FIF 3U
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment corriger le "franglais".
  • Handed in remaining chapter summaries for Jean de Florette and continued reading.  Should have completed to end of chapter 27.
  • Distributed fiche "problems" False Friends can lead you astray" - students read all and highlighted the 5 - 10 most important expressions for them and also handouts for ex. M and N.  Answers posted at back of classroom.  Students can check own work.
  • Watched some of DVD "Têtes à Claques" to listen to québécois French and enjoy the humour.
  • Devoirs: Reading amd "problems" handouts.
