Le site du jour: Thanksgiving vocabulary & Thanksgiving Quiz

• On parle: Présenter un ami.  Assessment today in class. 
• can do the quiz on Le site du jour or study vocabulary for L'école while waiting your turn for assessment. 
• L'école - learning vocabulary to talk about school. 
• Quizlet - in the HUB module "le vocabulaire et les expressions" submodule "l'école". Try different activities to learn the words. Test next week Fri Oct 13. Another way to get to the link: Quizlet: L'école
• Ma personnalité et mes activités - writing - See module "les adjectifs" in the HUB. Good copy was due to the Dropbox Oct. 3.
• le film de vendredi: film in French with French subtitles where available - part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Les Vacances de M.Bean.
• Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras
• Je me présente/mon introduction - due Sept 25.
• Listen to French music.
• Ma personnalité et mes activités - was due Oct. 3. 
• l'école - quiz Fri Oct 13.

• On parle: Avez-vous deja vu? Des moutons qui organisent un pique-nique & Des ballerines de traineau

  Mon blogue - in HWDSB Commons. 
• First post - Ma personnalité et mes activités - Should be published. Set up your network of 3 - 5 people and read each others' articles. Write positive, constructive comments.
