Ms. K-J was at an in-service work session today so students worked with a substitute teacher.  Students and parents need to be aware that work is provided for students when the teacher is absent and that they are expected to attend class and do their work as usual.  At any time that a student is absent for any reason, they are still expected to complete the assigned work.

FIF 1D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment parler des actions au passé.
  • Continued practicing le passé composé (handouts, study - individual and groups).
  • Continued reading Notre Dame de Paris. Students should be in Chapter 6 - read and answer questions 1, 2, and 3.
  • Devoirs:
    • le passé composé - test Thurs Mar 31. Complete all 12 handouts for Wed Mar 30.
    • Notre Dame de Paris.
  • The period 4 class had the opportunity to attend the Westdale Drama presentation: Elephants' Graveyard.  Most students went to the play and a few stayed in the classroom.  All students are still expected to complete the 12 handouts for le passé composé for Wed. Mar 30.
FIF 3U
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment lire une histoire au passé simple.
  • lesson and note (handout given Friday) Le passé simple. Practise handout to be completed by Mon. Apr. 4. Test Tues. Apr. 5.
  • Continued work on La Parure questions and presentations. Both are due Thurs. Mar 31.
  • Devoirs: 30 min French - La Parure, le passé simple.
