le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Comment donner les directives.
  • Watched French TicTac commercial and discussed briefly.
  • l'impératif: How to tell someone to do something - Une course de relai - Worked on finishing own course de relai with team (handout planning sheet) and taking photos of each step to prepare for comic strip work in library on Wed.
  • les devoirs: work on relay race or numbers - Finish Bingo game.

le but d'apprentissage: Comment parler des événements au passé.
  • Watched  French TicTac commercial and recounted briefly in French using le passé.
  • review - le passé composé, l'imparfait et le plus-que-parfait - finished work in groups to create posters of sentences using le passé composé & le plus-que-parfait (l'imparfait also if possible).
    • pre-test - started work in class.  Use to prepare for test le jeudi 4 octobre (le passé composé, l'imparfait, le plus-que-parfait.).  We will take it up tomorrow.
    • handout package - continue work.  Work on it in several sessions and make notes to help you remember it. Answers are posted on the back bulletin board.
  • les devoirs: study for test Thurs Oct 4 (le passé composé, l'imparfait, le plus-que-parfait.).  Complete pre-test.

le but d'apprentissage: Comment faire un curriculum vitae.
  • Mon portfolio -  was due Friday Sept 28. Must still be handed in, but must be accompanied by "late note explanation". Use paper/poster in classroom or from blog post labelled "late assignments".
  • Worked on Curriculum vitae (le C.V.). There is a good tool for building your CV on the Service Canada website.  Also check sites from lesson Thurs. Sept 27.
  • les devoirs: Curriculum Vitae - due Friday Oct 5.
