FIF 2D
le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux lire.
  • Some students still need to hand in assignment "test diagnostique" that was due on Mon. Feb 11, but they should hang on to that to give it directly to me on Fri Feb 15.  Must also submit late explanation note - see papers/poster in classroom or blog post labelled "late assignments" for details.
  • Students should complete all of the following work over the 2 days in class individually or in small groups, and, if needed, for homework. I will be checking their work on Friday.
  • Le Chandail de hockey (Roch Carrier)  
    • Read the story – handout given on Monday. May wish to make notes on the handout as they read.
    • Optional – read the book – on shelf under the window. Please return book neatly when done.
    • Answer questions – handout – may work with partner or small group, but each person needs to record answers.
    • Write a short summary of the story (10 – 12 sentences). This will be handed in on Friday. May work with partner/small group – only one summary submitted per group – make sure all names of group members are written on paper to be submitted.
  • Handout pkg “So you think you have problems”. Answer keys posted at back of room. Do all pages and check answers.
  • Les verbes au présent: handout chart (pink) as reference sheet for their binder – already given last week. Answers posted at back of room for checking, and they can use Bescherelle (on shelves near back of room) and smartphones (www.bescherelle.com). No need to finish for Friday – sometime next week is fine.
  • Les devoirs (homework):  Finish for Fri. Feb 15
