- read: "Une abominable feuille d'érable sur la glace" par Roch Carrier - handout and book, in groups, discussed importance, wrote resumé of 6 - 8 sentences in groups and handed in. Discussed use of le passé - composé, simple, imparfait, plus-que-parfait.
- les devoirs: Review le passe compose et l'imparfait.

- Assembly - Welcome and school procedures
- les devoirs: Work for 20 min or so on your project: "La musique dans ma vie"(written) OR "La mesur du succes"(oral or written presentation). Choose one of the projects. Discuss your ideas with a partner to help plan it. Due Fri. Sept. 14, but may be handed in on Mon. Sept 17 if you need to finish it on the weekend.
