- Speaking activity: résumé de l'histoire "La Machine à détecter tous ce qui est américain", then followed up with written résumé.
- Roch Carrier: 4 stories distributed Monday. Finished reading and highlighting the story chosen Monday. (Found a partner or small group to read that story together, highlighted words that you needed to look up in the dictionary, then highlighted the most important sentences to make a summary.)
- Completed own note on le passé - composé, imparfait, plus-que-parfait.

- project: "La musique dans ma vie"(written) OR "La mesur du succes"(oral or written presentation). Overdue if not already handed in. Must still hand in with late assignment note on or before Fri. Sept 21. See blog post labelled "Late assignments" for details for note, or use small handout from classroom.
- In computer lab: explored and did preliminary research on resumés using Ontario Education Resource Bank. User Id is HWDSBstudent and mot de passe is oerbs. Started a draft of own resumé in a Word document. We will be doing more work on this later, so don't worry about getting lots done now. Option to explore resources for Mon Portfolio personnel.
- les devoirs: Preparation for portfolio - collect documents and artifacts, binder (just a simple binder for this assignment is fine), dividers, plastic page protector.
