- Reading: Les origines du chocolat. Download the article from the HUB module “Reading: la lecture” into Notability. Read on own or in groups.
- Start with the last page of the document, question #11, Fiche: Mes Savoirs, filling in the first column of the table “Avant de lire” (Before Reading).
- Then, start reading the article in 4 steps using 3 colours of highlighter
- one for words that look like English (cognates)
- a second colour for words that you know
- a third for words that you will need to look up in the dictionary or on WordReference.com.
- Next, look up those words and note them on the document.
- If you finish the reading, start on the questions. The first one is just to summarize the main idea in each paragraph. Point form is fine.
