Rechauffement: Did speaking and listening activity with photo and les verbes réfléchis

week of Oct 18 – 22, 2010


Note: We will be in computer lab 301 on Wed. Oct 20 and Thurs. Oct 21.

1.  • L’imparfait et le passé compose
o Cahier pgs. 21, 22, 25 (answers posted on bulletin board)
o Handout paragraphs
o Prepare for summative test – le mardi 26 octobre
 Suggestions:
 Consolidate notes (make a new note)
 Reference sheet
 Practice tests (make own and trade and review formative tests)
 Poster
 Tutorial sessions
 Etc.

2. • La Machine à Rajeunir – chapitre 4
o Photocopies – 2 highlighters (words you know and to look up)
o Cahier pgs 23 – 24 (answers posted on bulletin board)

3. • Projet: “Un incident dans mon passé »
o Brouillon – self and peer edit using handout from original assignment sheet and also new handout (checklist – in English)
o Bonne copie & la présentation dû le 27 – 28 octobre

4. • Les verbes « er » et les changements d’orthographe (spelling changes)
o Handout note
o Chart to fill in (also posted in our First Class conference)

Devoirs: spend 30 min. doing some of the above work.  Suggestion: projet Un Incident - le brouillon.

FSF 1D

• Rechauffement: Did speaking and listening activity with photo and les verbes réfléchis
• Handout: requirements for paragraph "Ma Journée".  (also posted in our First Class conference)
• Listened to livre pg. 20 activité #1 - "la rêve horrible de Sunita" and took notes (individual and group)
• showed 24 clock to make outline - "le plan" for own paragraph "Ma Journée Idéale/Horrible".  A sample is posted in our First Class conference.
• Devoirs: Make your clock and fill in at least 10 very simple phrases (i.e. je me réveille) in the appropriate time slots.  Next step (tomorrow) will be to fill in a detail about each activity.  Follow guidelines on assignment handout to ensure that you have appropriate verbs.

FSF 1P

• Read cahier pg. 16 using 3 colours of highlighters and answered questions.
• Listened to cahier pg 18 sample presentation "Ma Diagramme de Venn" on CD and started working on own presentation (to be presented and evaluated on Wed. Oct 20).
• Devoirs: Finish good copy of poster "Ma Diagramme de Venn".
