Take our kids to work day: Wed. Nov.3. A great opportunity for our grade 9 students to relate school life to the world of work and to think about their future career.

FSF 1D
  • Learning goal: Using les verbes pronominaux.
  • Took up cahier pg. 189 and handout "test preparation" and had a few minutes to finish reviewing and preparing for the test.
  • Test: les verbes pronominaux/réfléchis.
  • Puzzle and reading of magazines "Débrouillard".
  • Devoirs: 1. Complete verb chart as best possible.  2. Think about how you will put 2 paragraphs - Ma Description & Ma Journée - with title and 2 extras (minimum) i.e. facebook, web page, scrapbook, etc.  We will be in computer lab 305 tomorrow.
FSF 2D
  • Learning goal: Telling a story in the past tense.
  • Took up test: le passé composé vs. l'imparfait.  There will be the opportunity for a re-test starting next week.  Analyse your mistakes to best focus your studying.
  • Presentations: Un Incident dans mon passé.
  • Time to prepare presentations and/or read magazines "Débrouillard".
  • Devoirs: Project/presentation: Un Incident dans mon passé.
FSF 1P
  • Learning goal of the day: How to describe people: les adjectifs réguliers.
  • lesson: livre pg. 22
  • Practise: livre pg.23, cahier pg. 22, 23, 24.
  • Devoirs: make a reference sheet for les adjectifs réguliers.  Quiz tomorrow.
