FSF 2D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment parler de l'incertitude.
  • Checked work assigned Fri: cahier pg 51.  Students who had completed that work made poems on posters.  Students who had not finished worked on completing that work.
  • Briefly introduced "le conditionnel":  how to say "would, could, should".
  • Formed groups to read livre pgs. 83 - 87 "Les astéroïdes" in Literature Circles, then orally answered livre pg.88 "As-tu compris?" and to work on cahier pgs. 95-96.  Students are asked to complete at least 1/2 of the activities on the 2 cahier pages.
  • Devoirs: 20 - 30 min. Re-read livre 83 - 87 and work on cahier 95-96.
FSF 1D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment dire les actions au passé.
  • Checked work assigned Friday: cahier pg. 83 and puzzle.  We will look at cahier pg. 76 another day.
  • Reviewed "les mots interrogatifs" on board and students were told to make a note.
  • Review and practise time for "le passé composé - avoir & être".  Summative test tomorrow.  Students were given a package of handouts and 9 other choices of activities and 45 min. of class time to help them prepare for tomorrow's test.  The activities included: SmartBoard, Concentration game, re-doing and checking previous handouts, cahier pages, tests, using "la Maison d'être" on window with cards with verbs, pink cards with correct and incorrect sentences and corrections, games using whiteboards, blackboards, sticks and dice, making posters or "cheat sheets".
  • Devoirs: Study for the test: "le passé composé - avoir & être".  Use some of the activities from class today.
FSF 1P
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment utiliser le superlatif (the most, the least...).
  • Hand in "Ma Ville idéale if not already in.
  • Time to review and practise le superlatif using cahier pgs. 108 and 109.
  • Quiz: le superlatif - tomorrow.
  • devoirs:
    • Write 5 sentences based on cahier pg.109 ex. D.  You can use sentences already checked by the teacher if you finished those in class time.
    • look at packages at home to find examples of le superlatif. (le plus..., le moins...)
