• le but d'apprentissage:  Comment lire les histoires au passe.
• Took up test from Mar 31 - le passe compose.
• re-test available starting Apr. 7.  See blog posting "re-tests" for procedures.
• In groups or by self - continued reading Notre Dame de Paris, questions #1-3 for each chapter and short summary of each chapter.  Students are expected to finish the book for this Fri. Apr. 8 and we will be having a test next week - details to follow.
• Devoirs: 20 - 30 min of French - Notre Dame de Paris or other review/practise.

• le but d'apprentissage: Comment lire les histoires au passe simple.
• Quick review of "le passe compose" on board and discussion.
• Distributed handout le passe simple - due tomorrow - test preparation for Wed. Apr 6 (students will take phrase in passe simple and re-write in passe compose for test).
• distributed story "la Vendetta" by de Maupassant.  Started reading.  Will be doing work later this week to prepare for comparative essay of this and "La Parure".
• Devoirs: 20 - 30 min of French - study "le passe simple" or read "la vendetta" or finish "La Parure" if not already done.  See blog posting for "late assignments".
