Permission forms for the Malajube concert were distributed. Hand in the last 2 pages - fill in both sides - on Monday to guarantee your spot before we open it up to other classes.


FIF 1D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment démontrer la compréhension d'une histoire.
  • test Notre Dame de Paris ch. 1 - 5.  Finished part 1 and also did part 2.  Students were allowed to use their text for the test, but not their notes.
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine.
FIF 3U
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment faire une dissertation de comparaison.
  • time in class to work on editing and polishing comparative essay "La Parure & Une Vendetta - quelle histoire à choisir pour la lecture en FIF 3U?"  Make sure you have all parts ready to hand in together and neatly in order (la page de couverture, la bonne copie, le brouillon, la grille de rédaction, le plan). Typed good copy is preferred, but neatly hand-written is fine. All work should be double-spaced.
  • le subjonctif - les verbes réguliers (leçon 13).  
    • gave lesson/note/text photocopies pgs. 232 - 241
    • did pg. 232 act. 2 or 3 orally in groups
    • went over pg. 233.  Students should add to their own note and do act. 4 (pg. 234) orally and/or written
    • 5 handouts for practise - do and check own from answer keys at back of room.  This should be completed today.
  • lesson and example: how to make a Mandala as a visual representation of your learning style and interests.  Distributed individual learning profiles and made a draft.  Good copy will be due Thurs. Apr. 21.  May be done on paper or computer and e-mailed in.
  • Devoirs: comparative essay due Fri. Apr. 15 but may hand in on Monday with no late note (it just means that you will have homework for the weekend.
