Progress reports were distributed March 9. Parent-teacher interviews are tomorrow Thurs. March 29 from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. Make appointments with the teacher using the paper provided to the students.  Tomorrow is also the OSSLT gr 10 literacy test and gr 9 practice test.

FIF 3U
  • le but d'apprentissage:  Comment mieux lire.
  • On own (not in partners or groups) : Re-read the article (handout) « Tribus des tatoués » then did the new handout « Test de lecture : les tribus de tatoués ». May answer in point form but full sentences are preferable.
  • On own or quietly with partner or small group : Handouts – les problems ex. I & J – read lesson and examples, then did activity. Should check answers using answer keys posted on back bulletin board.
  • les devoirs:  Any work not completed in class. Review various forms of verbs. Organize binder.
FSF 1D
  • le but d'apprentissage:  Comment parler du passé.
  • Work on own or quietly with partner or in groups to complete the following work.
    • Handout from yesterday: cahier pgs. 30 & 35. Do your best. Don’t worry if you miss some of them.
    • Handout pkg: 3 pages, back to back. Do your best to complete these.
  • les devoirs:  Spend 20 – 30 minutes on handout packages or on other practice for le passé composé + avoir. No need to finish all papers tonight if they have used class time well.
FSF 2D
  • le but d'apprentissage:  Comment mieux lire.
  • Work quietly with partner or group or on own. Any work not finished in class is homework.
    • Handout for chapter 3 of text: La machine à rajeunir. Complete both sides.
    • Handout: le passé compose & l’imparfait – both sides.
    • If done, re-read ch. 3 by self or in groups
  • les devoirs: Re-read chapter 3. Complete any of the handouts not done in class.
