FIF 1D
le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment parler du present. 
  • handed in assignment: Moi-même: 1 day late if not ready yesterday.  After today, a late explanation form is required.
    • Must be double-spaced.  Can be typed or written neatly by hand.  Make a simple cover page (title, name, date, optional: images) and will be handing in all parts (le page à couverture, la bonne copie, le brouillon, la fiche de rédaction, les idées/le plan) - see posters in classroom or blog entry labelled "Les parties d'une composition".
  • Notre-Dame de Paris 
    • chapter 1 - did questions pg. 13 - 14 ex. 1, 2, 3.
  • les verbes au présent.  Practice package due today, checked and corrected.  Answers posted at the back of the classroom and in separate blog posting "FIF 1D - les verbes au présent - les réponses".  Check and correct own work.  Test tomorrow Fri Sept 20.
  • today, work/study time in class - review, games, written work etc.
  • les devoirs: Moi-même bonne copie was due yesterday 
    • les verbes: practice package due today le 19 sept, test le 20 sept

  • handed in assignment: Moi-même: 1 day late if not ready yesterday.  After today, a late explanation form is required.
    • Must be double-spaced.  Can be typed or written neatly by hand.  Make a simple cover page (title, name, date, optional: images) and will be handing in all parts (le page à couverture, la bonne copie, le brouillon, la fiche de rédaction, les idées/le plan) - see posters in classroom or blog entry labelled "Les parties d'une composition".
  • rechauffement: speaking with partners: comparing timetables (cards)
  • Le Bossu de Notre-Dame
    • Finished questions A - D for ch 1
    • Read chapter 2 together with some discussion.  Worked on questions A, B, C & D - will continue tomorrow.
    • for homework - re-read ch. 2 and do summary (in French!).  Include:
      • les personnages principaux
      • la scene (quand & ou)
      • l'action (a peu pres 5 phrases)
      • vocabulaire importante - entre 5 a 10 mots (see question C for ideas)
  • les devoirs:  Moi-même bonne copie if not already done.
    • Le Bossu de Notre-Dame, ch.2 re-read, resume
