    • Exam is Tues. January 26 at 10 am - 12 in room 316
    • Culminating Activity: Presentations by Zachary on William Shakespeare, Jonas and Abdulah on To Kill a Mockingbird - book & film, and Abeer on Just Desert.
      • I conferenced with most students about the plan for their presentations while we were working in the library last week and will talk with each of you before you present. 
      • Each student completes notes based on the template on the Assignment sheet for each presentation. Collect them to submit after all presentations are done. This will be assessed. 
      • Follow assignment requirements, format, timelines and assessment. Assignment sheet link  Presentation schedule  - helpful for practicing: oral presentation feedback checklist 
      • Small handout (1/2 page summary) must be submitted the day before your presentation to allow time for photocopying, or just put it in Google Drive and share the link.
      • Personal reflection due 2 - 3 days after your presentation. See assignment sheet for details - basically - 1 page typed double-spaced, what did you learn that enhanced your understanding of this course & analyze your performance.
    • Homework:
      • culminating presentation. Presentations began January 11.
      • Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.

      • writing pg.61 Ex.L J'écris - La routine quotidienne - 5 - 8 sentences about the daily routine of a family member. Use handout for rough work, then write and submit good copy on other paper or through Google Drive. Level 4 work will have 8 sentences and will add details. Use model sentences in other handouts to help compose great sentences. Due today in class or tomorrow if not finished in class.
