le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous parlons des habilités qu'on a déjà. 

• Classroom norms:  We are finishing our posters for Soyez respectueux.
• Oral skills self-assessment: in the HUB module "auto-évaluation", download the document "Oral Self Assessment A1, A2, B2-handout greyscale" to Notability. Start with the A1 page and highlight all the skills you can already do, then A2, and, if you wish, B1. Save this note. We will review it and add skills periodically and you can use it to set your goals for the semester. 
• Mon introduction/ Je me présente - introduction to assignment. See the HUB module "introduction" for details. 
• Options:  Duolingo (sign up for an account, install the app from HWDSB catalogue) or FreeRice.com or Digital Dialects - games
• les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in Home Study extras

• Do some planning for your introduction.

• gr 9/10 assembly 9 - 9:30
• Acronym poster: My name - descriptive poster. See the HUB module "introduction" for details and for the Dropbox for your rough work. Complete the poster in class today and submit.
• Flipboard: install the app on your iPad and sign up and check your preferences. If time, begin reading an article of your choice. 
• Homework: Flipboard - read an article.

• Mon introduction/ Je me présente - begin planning assignment. See the HUB module "introduction" and notes on board for details. Mackenzie will share her video from last semester and present another form of planning using sticky notes. 
• Options:  Duolingo (sign up for an account, install the app from HWDSB catalogue) or FreeRice.com or Digital Dialects - games

• Work on planning for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes of recording for Je me présente/Mon introduction.
