    • 10:15 Grade 11, 12 - assembly for option sheets
    • If time after assembly, work on: Oral skills self-assessment: in the HUB module "auto-évaluation", download the document "Oral Self Assessment A1, A2, B2-handout greyscale" to Notability. Start with the A1 page and highlight all the skills you can already do, then A2, and, if you wish, B1. Save this note. We will review it and add skills periodically and you can use it to set your goals for the semester. 
    • Options:  Duolingo or FreeRice.com or Digital Dialects - games
    • le film de vendredi: film in French with French subtitles where available - part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Moulin Rouge.
    • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras.

    • My personality: Finish writing your paragraph using the template from the HUB module "My personality" and your rough notes in Notability (title: My personality). We are writing a short paragraph using this information and your opinions. It is due to the Dropbox today. 
    • Acronym poster: My name - descriptive poster. See the HUB module "introduction" for details and for the Dropbox for your rough work. Complete the poster and submit. It was due Fri. Feb. 9. 15 minutes to work. If done, explore the site CBC Olympics. Read some articles. Send a congratulatory or encouraging tweet to one of the athletes.  
    • Flipboard: install the app on your iPad, sign up and check your preferences. Read an article of your choice. 
    • Homework: Flipboard or CBC Olympics - read an article.

    • video: How to introduce others in French - French Introductions then choose a friend or group of 3 to practice introducing each other to someone else. Include the following:
      • name, age, school, grade, city
      • 2 interesting facts i.e. personality traits, activities, things they like/dislike, how you know them etc. 
    • Options:  Duolingo (sign up for an account, install the app from HWDSB catalogue) or FreeRice.com or Digital Dialects - games
