le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons beaucoup de mots.

• Watched clips from videos: Le marché de Noël d'Aix-en-Provence & L'Alsace, Capitale de Noël
• Did vocabulary building activity with large posters, markers, dictionaries (on-line and book)WordReference.com On-line dictionary and started to create Mon dictionnaire personnel.
• Talked briefly about preparatations for exams - speaking, listening, reading & writing
• les devoirs: think about more words to add to your personal dictionary.

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux comprendre une pièce. Nous apprenons comment éviter la répétition.

• Cyrano de Bergerac: Acte III scènes 8 - 14 - quiz.
• presentation: Acte IV scènes 1 à 5 + un jeu
• Les pronoms d'objet:  Review lesson, including agreement with passé composé.  Gave pre-test - answers will be posted tomorrow.  There will be some time in class daily until Thurs. Dec. 6. Test: le vendredi 7 décembre.  Students will be allowed to make a 1/2 letter size reference note to use on the test.
• les devoirs: 20 - 30 min les pronoms - practice and study. Cyrano Acte IV scènes 1 à 5 - re-read.

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment faire un portfolio professionel.

• Book recommendation: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, Sean Covey. Might be a good Christmas, holiday or birthday present.
• project: un Mandala personnel - Final due date is today Tues. Dec. 4. After that, it will be a zero. Original due date was Thurs Nov 22. Follow directions carefully. No marks deducted, but STUDENT, not parent, must write late explanation note. Parent must sign note to indicate they have seen the note. See post labelled "late assignments".
• Mon Portfolio Personnel: Work time in the computer lab.
• optional: started looking at examples of Curriculum Vitae - research, also recommended - the OERB (Ontario Educational Resource Bank).  We will be having a lesson and the assignment sheet for that tomorrow and back in the lab on Thurs Dec 6.
• les devoirs: Mon Portfolio Personnel: Due Fri. Dec. 7.
