  • exams: written - period 2 - Thurs Jan 23, 10 am - 12 noon
      • period 4 - Mon Jan 27, 10 am - 12 noon
    • listening - Thurs Jan 16, in class
    • speaking - Fri Jan 17, in class

  • écoute: DELF A2 activités 8, 9 & 10.  Please note: if you miss any of the listening activities we are doing daily, you may speak with Ms.K-J about coming in at lunch or after school to do them.
  • Au revoir les enfants:  
    • handout for questions scenes 42 - 53 - checked, corrected & discussed
  • le futur simple: practice activities on handout (due today - checked and corrected from answer keys posted at back of classroom or from entry on this blog le futur simple - les réponses
  • les devoirs: 20 - 30 min of French.  Some possibilities:
    • Au revoir les enfants: watch film again Au revoir les enfants
    • review for exam - organize binder, re-do notes, practice activities or tests, find practice activities or games on internet...

  • exams: written -Fri Jan 24, 10 am - 12 noon
    • listening - Thurs Jan 16, in class
    • speaking - Fri Jan 17, in class (and a short interview also - date TBA)
  • Watched Vive le ventFresh Prince Google Translate & Evian: bébé & moi
  • Also watched The Last Dance by Camille Intson
  • Forum national des jeunes ambassadeurs:  Opportunity for leadership training in promoting bilingualism Aug 7 - 12, 2014 in Sudbury, Ontario.  National forum for young ambassadors - apply in February but think about it now. 
  • écoute: DELF level B1 - activité 11 (handout + CD)
  • les expressions impersonnelles & le subjonctif -2 handout packages - Read & discussed. Review it & work on practice activities over the next week.  Start thinking about "le livret pour les nuls" project - "booklet for Dummies".  Written & oral presentations for last couple of days of classes using impersonal expressions & le subjonctif.
  • les devoirs:  20 - 30 minutes of French.  Some possibilities:
    • 2 handout packages
    • review for exam - organize binder, re-do notes, practice activities or tests, find listening and writing practice activities or games on internet...
