- To Kill a Mockingbird: Continue with package for literature circles/semi-independent work. Complete vocabulary and discussion questions for chapters 1 - 3 and ch.4 - 7 - quiz will be Tues. Dec. 8. Here is the post with a summary of the class instructions and photos of the answer keys.
- Homework:
- Read or re-read To Kill a Mockingbird chapters 1 - 7 - prepare for quizzes tomorrow.
- Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.

- reading: Handout – film information – Complete both activities (2 sides of paper). May work alone or in groups. I will be checking and correcting the work tomorrow.
- Vocabulary building (2 sided paper) “Can you see and hear me?” and “Day by day”. Work in class on own or in groups. I will be checking and correcting the work tomorrow, so, anything not completed in class must be done for homework. Read the lesson section of the handout carefully and use that to answer the practice activity.
- If complete all work in class, find other quiet work to do, including reading the classroom magazines or comic books (on front counter) or use phones to do French games or work on blog.
- les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in: Home Study extras
- blog - this week's suggested topics: la réflexion - la 10e entrée - Qu'est-ce que j'ai appris pendant les 10 semaines? Est-ce que j'ai accompli mes objectifs de la première entrée? When 10th entry is completed, choose Mes meilleures 3 entrées, identify them by making a new post, then can edit them to improve the level of communication.
