le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous parlons de la famille.
  • On écoute: Listening assessment DELF A1 (Didier pg.14)
  • FLEvideo A1 la météo Do on own. Read questions. Listen through once, then answer questions. Listen as many times as necessary to complete questions. Check and submit score to Code de professeur Ms.K-J
  • la famille: Use resources from the HUB module "vocabulaire et expressions" submodule "la famille" 
    • la conversation: live. May use a cue card or note in Notability for questions (not answers). Each group will speak for 3 - 5 minutes. Due le jeudi 2 novembre. 
    • le paragraph: article  of 8 - 10 sentences, including introduction and conclusion. Due to Dropbox le jeudi 2 novembre. 
  • If done, Duolingo or FreeRice.com
        • le film de vendredi: film in French with French subtitles where available - part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Bourne Identity.
        • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras
          • Listen to French music.
          • Watch a film in French. 
          • la famille interview and article was due Nov 2. 
          • la famille - Quizlet test from the HUB (if not already done)

        • Le jour de souvenirs - reading activity
        • les souvenirs d'enfance  - l'imparfait vs. le passé composé 
          • Test Monday Nov 13. May use a handwritten reference card on both sides of note-size paper (8 1/2" x 5 1/2") or one side of letter paper.  Support in the HUB module "la grammaire" submodule "le passé"
          • Kahoot - le passé composé ou l'imparfait? & Kahoot - passé composé et l'imparfait
          • Dropbox - blog article (10 - 12 sentences) - pay attention to the verbes - description? action - limitée? ou répétée? interrompue? Publish due date: le jeudi 2 novembre on your own blog. Submit to Dropbox also. 
          • la conversation - avec votre groupe. Evaluations.
          • next blog article: Soyez bilingue. 10 - 12 sentences about the importance of being bilingual. Use the writing process - so - first, should be generating ideas directly into your draft post. Publish good copy by Nov 18.
