le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous lisons des biographies des canadiens.

• On lit: Une Biographie d'un canadien using L'encyclopedie canadienne Details are in the HUB module "Reading: La lecture" Today, finish work on the 3 colours of highlighters and definitions of significant words and start making the outline using titles, subtitles and topic sentences. 
• Blog - HWDSB Commons - read the blog posts of your network of friends and make simple, insightful comments - en français, bien sûr. 
• le film de vendredi: film in French with French subtitles where available - part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching French Immersion.
• Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras
• Listen to French music.
• Watch a film in French.
