  • Practiquez!
    • Prepositions of Countries, Cities, and Places - Quizlet – Practice the prepositions using Quizlet
    • Prepositions Connect 4:
      • Game boards are on the HUB module “Les Directions” submodule “Les Prépositions” under “Connect 4 Game Board”
      • With a partner, using the game sheets, play the game Connect 4. The goal is to get 4 squares in a row twice on the same board. Partners take turns making sentences using a place on the left and a subject pronoun on the top using aller and être. If you form the sentence correctly, you get a square, if not, then it is your partner’s turn. (i.e. Je vais en France)
  • Bingo: Near the end of the class, we will play bingo as a class using your Bingo cards on Notability.
  • le film de vendredi: film in French with French subtitles where available - part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Bourne Identity.
  • Rappel:
  • If done, Duolingo or FreeRice.com or Digital Dialects - games
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras
  • Listen to French music.
  • French on-line games

    le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous écrivons des stratégies de succès. Nous lisons des biographies des canadiens.
    • On parle: Speaking activities with Mme Mulligan
    • On parle, on écrit: Mes buts et mes projets pour ce semestre/mes stratégies de succès. Short blog post (5 sentences or so).  Format/questions:
        • Qu'est-ce qu'on s'arrête de faire?
        • Qu'est-ce qu'on commence à faire?
        • Qu'est-ce qu'on continue à faire?  
      • Don't forget to add a title, an introduction and a conclusion/ending. Write 2 points for each question. Use le futur simple to say what you will do.  Should be editing using BonPatron and with friends. Should publish article today. 
    • On lit: Une Biographie d'un canadien Details are in the HUB module "Reading: La lecture".  Submit to Dropbox when done.  Due today.
