    • Review the principles of the subjunctive mood in French
    • revisit the main concepts relating to the subjunctive and it’s functionality.
    • formation review (Links for practice activities are in the HUB module "la grammaire" submodule "le subjonctif"). Correct the exercises they should have completed during independent study time on Tuesday. 
  • Le livret pour les nuls: Introduction
    • Exemplars and outline for the assignment are on the Hub. Read through past examples of this assignment and pick out expressions and verbs used within the context of the subjunctive. 
    • Go through the outline and come up with a theme or topic for own version of the livret. 
  • if time: ReadingLes origines du chocolat. See details in the HUB module “Reading: la lecture”.
    • les devoirs: Should be spending 20 - 30 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in Home Study extras

      • Review of chapter 21
      • read chapter 22 and do quiz in the HUB submodule "Reading Chapters"
      • class discussion and own notes in Notability or Google Drive - What are some of the significant or interesting events in these chapters? Questions? Connections? Predictions? 
    • Newspaper: The Hamilton Spectator - trivia contest - starting soon. Check out today's paper: TheSpec (link) Log in with my school email bkukhtaj@hwdsb.on.ca and the password is on the board. 
    • if time: 
      • QuizUp - sign in or install the app and sign up. Try some of the quizzes with a partner in class.

    • Homework: Flipboard  
      • Catch up on reading and quizzes for The Giver if behind.

      • On écoute: From the HUB module "Listening activities", "DELF A1 Hachette CO Je me prépare". Today, we will do pg. 13 - 14 , act. 16-18 for assessment.
      • La Grande Course Postale Canadienne: Write draft (brouillon) for own letter in Notability then start editing using BonPatron. The original letter is in the HUB.
      • If time - review les verbes - present indicative in Language Gym
        • Options:  Duolingo or FreeRice.com or Digital Dialects - games or Language Gym
