Used handout/reference package for restaurant dialogues to work with partners, checked page 4 (sample dialogues, fill in blanks) and worked on own dialogues. Presentations - will be assessed. Plan to do on Fri Nov 16.
Started work on puzzle handout packages - theme - la nourriture. These will remain in the classroom for use when needed.

We have an opportunity to attend the Westdale boys football championship game today. Must have filled in permission forms and had them signed and brought $2 if wish to attend.
Cyrano de Bergerac: Acte II - V - worked in groups on steps 1 - 4 of assignment handout. Filled in daily log at the end of the class. Target date to finish preparing steps 1 - 4 is Fri. Nov. 16 and start Acte II presentation on Mon. Nov. 19. Make sure to divide and share the work among the members of the groups.

Talked about the value of doing personality tests - even ones you may have already done, and about keeping a neat, complete, organized binder.
Worked in computer lab 210 on Career Cruising - handout from Mon. Nov. 12 - research 2 other careers now and hand in.
Then do VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinaesthetic) learning styles test. Print and keep results in your binder. Here are some links to the test at Businessballs.com (recommeneded) and some other tests:
