Reminder re: journal/blog.  We are in the 7th week of this assignment.  If you don't already have at least 5 entries done, get caught up.  See your handout or blog post "FIF 1D or FSF 3U journal/blog" in labels section for further details and topic ideas.

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment éviter la répétition & comment faire un plan pour un projet.
  • les pronoms relatifs "qui" & "que" 
    • leçon: discussion, note (check with M. Moore or a classmate if absent to complete note), SmartBoard, examples, game
  • Notre-Dame de Paris 
    • work time for interview tâche finale (handout distributed last Wed, outline is due this Wed.).  Follow directions on handout carefully to complete the project effectively.
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine unless there is work not completed this week or if you need to write a journal/blog entry, work on Notre-Dame de Paris interviews, organize binder, or watch a DVD in French (no subtitles).
    • Préparez un costume ou un déguisement pour lundi ou mardi prochain, selon quand vous présenterez.

    le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux parler en français.
    • Trip to Hamilton Francophone Film Festival on Wed. Nov. 13 in the afternoon to see "Monsieur Lazhar.  Permission forms distributed.  Bring form and $5 asap to reserve your spot.
    • Worked on our video: La meilleure classe de français de l'Ontario
    • Le Bossu de Notre-Dame:
      • discussed themes & possible questions/subjects for written project (parameters: 2 pgs. double-spaced, show understanding of book & connection to self or our society)
      • will also be doing an oral assessment 
      • re-reading book & questions A - D - oral
      • do summary (in French!).  Include:
        • les personnages principaux
        • la scène (quand & où)
        • l'action (à peu près 5 phrases)
        • vocabulaire importante - entre 5 à 10 mots (see question C for ideas)
    • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine unless there is work not completed this week or if you need to write a journal/blog entry, finish resumés for le Bossu de Notre-Dame - hand in for Tues. Nov. 5, think about themes & possible questions for written assessment, organize binder, or watch a DVD in French (no subtitles).
