learning goal: We are learning about narration through fairy tales.
- Continued discussion about Fairy Tales and narration today.
- Discussed what remembered about sequence of events from Little Red Riding Hood and moral of the story.
- Read and discussed Charles Perrault's version of Little Red Riding Hood with moral poem at end.
- Read and discussed article "Text and Context". Re-read and took notes of what learned and new thoughts.
- Began filling in information on handout for sections 3.2-1, 3.2-2 and 3.2-3 in groups.
- Homework: Continue filling handout for sections 3.2-1, 3.2-2 and 3.2-3 with some information - spend 15 - 20 minutes. No need to complete all of it, as we will finish it in class tomorrow, collecting and sharing ideas.
- Finish re-reading "Text and Context" and adding your own notes.
