FSF 2D  
le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous parlons des événements au passé. 
  • 2 students presented the summary of their article from a French magazine. Questions and short discussion. Les nouvelles/les articles
  • Introduction to Literature Circles - will be starting next Tuesday with books chosen before break. Distributed handouts and explained briefly.
  • l'imparfait - review and discussion. Time to work on 2 handout packages previously given.
  • Pas de devoirs pour le congé de Pâques as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice - see: Home Study extras osuggestions below.

learning goal: We are reading the novel "Speak".
  • discussed OSSLT practice on March 31
  • "Speak"
    • shared in small groups -  a short journal-type paragraph based on question #5 of section pgs. 84-104 - a teacher with whom you have connected.
    • class discussion questions  - pages 104-123 - from handouts. Did #1-4. Continue to organize your notes to keep for review at end of book for evaluation. 
  • No homework if all caught up for the work this week. Some suggestions if you wish to do some work:
    • Speak - read, finish questions/vocabulary to end of page 123.
    • Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.

        • Discussed work done yesterday and importance of working well in class - for yourself and your own progress, not just for the teachers.
        • Played Headbanz.
        • Reviewed/discussed/practiced le passé composé. See photos. Start making your own note to help understand it better.
