Introduction to Literature Circles - will be starting next Tuesday with books chosen before break. Distributed handouts and explained briefly.
l'imparfait - review and discussion. Time to work on 2 handout packages previously given.

learning goal: We are reading the novel "Speak".

shared in small groups - a short journal-type paragraph based on question #5 of section pgs. 84-104 - a teacher with whom you have connected.
class discussion questions - pages 104-123 - from handouts. Did #1-4. Continue to organize your notes to keep for review at end of book for evaluation.

No homework if all caught up for the work this week. Some suggestions if you wish to do some work:

Speak - read, finish questions/vocabulary to end of page 123.
Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.
