It is Educational Assistant Appreciation Day.  Thank you to all of our dedicated EA's for the support they give to students and teachers.

Today was the last day for Ms. Webb (our teacher-candidate from Brock University).  We thank her for all her help and wish her the best in the rest of her program.

    • les prépositions et les noms géographiques - SmartBoard activity and cahier 31, 69, 92. There will be a quiz near the end of next week.  Students will be allowed to use their note.

  • Work time:
    • Written copy of Un Couple Monstrueux Parfait (good copy due Mon.Nov.22)
    • Audio recording in the computer lab (Due Tues.Nov.23) on CD, flash drive to transfer to Ms. K-J's computer or as a file attached to an e-mail.  Make a good title for the audio file which includes the names of the students and the word "monstre".  Send the e-mail to Ms.Webb ( kw10jq@brocku.ca) and to Ms.K-J (beverly.kukhta-jackson@hwdsb.on.ca)
  • Many students have completed and submitted both parts of the assignment and have no homework this weekend.
  • Students who do not complete and submit either part of the assignment on time will be given an alternate assignment which will assess the same curriculum expectations and which will be equal in length.
FSF 1P
  • We recorded presentations of "une personne que j'admire" on digital camera.  Thank you to David, Amanda, Khrysa and Mr. Rossi for their help and expertise in getting this done.
  • Some students chose to videotape themselves at home.  This video must be completed on the weekend and submitted on Mon.Nov.22 on DVD, on a flash drive to be transferred to Ms.K-J's computer or as an file attachment to an e-mail to beverly.kukhta-jackson@hwdsb.on.ca.  Please use your own name as part of the file name to make it easy to identify and mark.
  • We completed a review and quiz on "vouloir & pouvoir".
  • We received a handout (brown paper) with the vocabulary for this unit then classified the buildings on a handout word web.  Some students started sketching ideas for their next project "Ma Ville Idéale".
  • Watched some of DVD "Les Vacances de M. Bean".
  • Pas de devoirs pour la longue fin de semaine (unless you need to record your presentation).
