Ms. K-J was generally pleased with the work that students accomplished on Fri. Nov. 12.  It is important for students to take responsibility for their own learning.

FSF 1D
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment améliorer notre travail (peer-editing).
  • Today, students who had completed their brouillon (draft) of their Monster Couple worked together with Ms. Webb to proofread, edit and improve this first draft and handed in a second draft to Ms. Webb which she will return tomorrow.
  • Students who had not finished the brouillon or other steps of the written project worked with Ms.K-J to complete that work.
  • Devoirs: Complete brouillon of Monster Couple.
FSF 2D
  • Le but d'apprentissage: Comment utiliser les pronoms d'objet.
  • Review/ consolidation lesson: les pronoms - sujet, réfléchi, objet direct et indirect, personnels.  We discussed these pronouns, made notes, did examples and made posters.
  • Devoirs: Review pronouns and make sure you have completed cahier pg. 29 correctly in full sentences to be ready for the "speed dating" activity.  We will do this activity on a day when all students are present.
FSF 1P
  • Le but d'apprentissage: Comment parler de quelqu'un qu'on admire.
  • We spent most of the class completing cahier pgs. 33 and 34 (oral presentation template - make substitutions to present your person that you admire) and on completing the poster (ledger paper, name of person, 3 adjectives of personality, illustrations of each character trait).
  • Introduction of next unit: la ville.  Looked at livre pgs. 32 - 33 and discussed briefly.
  • Devoirs: Finish poster of "Une personne que j'admire" and draft of oral presentation (see cahier pg. 34).  Practise presentations will be tomorrow and evaluated presentations will be on Wed.Nov.17.
