- demonstration of format for interview. Will be using Socrative with mobile devices to choose questions - audience participation. Interviews will be presented in class on Mon & Tues next week.
- went over rubric for interview
- work time for interview tâche finale (handout distributed last Wed, outline was due yesterday). Follow directions on handout carefully to complete the project effectively.
- Halloween activities - éviter le prof
- les devoirs: 20 - 30 min
- Notre-Dame - les questions & le plan dû le mercredi 30 oct, so finish if not already done. Si vous ne soumettrez pas votre plan, je ne peux pas le corriger, et votre notre final sur le projet va tomber.
- Préparez un costume ou un déguisement pour lundi ou mardi prochain, selon quand vous présenterez.

- Trip to Hamilton Francophone Film Festival on Wed. Nov. 13 in the afternoon to see "Monsieur Lazhar. Permission forms distributed. Bring form and $5 asap to reserve your spot.
- watched 2 short videos Têtes à Claques Halloween & Têtes à Claques Halloween 2. We had better success in understanding when we watched once without subtitles, then watched again with the subtitles (in French).
- Worked on our video: La meilleure classe de français de l'Ontario
- Le Bossu de Notre-Dame:
- gave handout of themes & possible questions/subjects for written project (parameters: 2 pgs. double-spaced, show understanding of book & connection to self or our society)
- will also be doing an oral assessment
- re-reading book & questions A - D - oral
- do summary (in French!). Include:
- les personnages principaux
- la scène (quand & où)
- l'action (à peu près 5 phrases)
- vocabulaire importante - entre 5 à 10 mots (see question C for ideas)
- les devoirs: 20 - 30 minutes
- Le Bossu de Notre-Dame - re-reading, resume - try to complete & hand in for Tues. Nov. 5, read handout with themes & possible questions for written assessment - narrow choices down (or choose your theme) & start making notes of ideas for your composition.
