le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux ecouter et lire.
  • Watched and listened to Ne me quitte pas - Jacques Brel Ne me quitte pas - Sting and Ne me quitte pas - Celine Dion  Filled in blanks on paper and discussed briefly.
  • Cyrano de Bergerac
    • handout - Acte 1 scènes 5 à 7.  Re-read and answered questions.  Re-read sections at bottom of page and discuss in groups.  To be completed for Wed. Oct. 8.

    • Students are always encouraged to watch a favourite DVD in French (no subtitles), play some French games on internet, do Duolingo , watch French TV, read a blog entry & write a positive comment from your class blog network, read some French articles, magazines, books or newspapers (hard copy or on-line), practice numbers or review some French.

        • Speaking activity - les choses que je faisais et ne faisais pas quand j'etais plus jeune.
        • l'imparfait.  Reviewed formation and had lesson on use - la description vs. l'action - made own note - see photo below for a very brief summary of our discussion.
          • practiced on handout to be completed for tomorrow.
