- Performance strategies for oral reading presentation Wed. May 4. Listened to "To be or not to be" excerpt from Hamlet read by Adrian Lester and graded it.
- Shakespeare and Twelfth Night
- Submitted journal for Act I if not done last week.
- Read and listened to Act II, scenes 1 and 2 following established procedures and norms (see photo on post April 25) and discussed. Completed journal (handout) for Act II, scenes 1 snd 2. This will be submitted and assessed at the end of Act II.
- Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare - FULL Audio Book (Or, What You Will)
- No fear Shakespeare - a post-reading resource to compare original and modern texts
- Homework: Get in the habit of doing 20 - 30 minutes of English homework every night Monday to Thursday. Review lessons, extend your knowledge or read.
- Twelfth Night performance assessment Wed. May 4. - 20 lines - see handout with details given last week.
- Explain your section in 21st century English to your dog, fish, little brother...
- Finish journal for Twelfth Night Act II, scenes 1 and 2 and re-read.
- Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your classwork early. Read regularly at home.
