  • Blogue - should have all 10 entries done -  tenth entry is a reflection. Refer to  FSF2D Journal/blog for guiding questions for the reflection entry. 
    • choose top 3 entries and edit using BonPatron, spellcheck, peer editing, etc.
    • Create an eleventh post called: Les meilleures 3 entrées and link your top 3 entries in it.
    • Be sure to read and comment on blog posts from your network. 
  • le passé composé et l'imparfait - practice for test Thurs. May 19.
  • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in: Home Study extras
    • Review vocabulary on handouts for asking and giving directions. Oral assessment Fri. May 20.
    • le passé composé et l'imparfait - Test Thurs. May 19. Create reference sheet.
    • article presentations - read and summarize - point form. More students will present next week.

learning goal: We are reading Shakespeare and identifying useful strategies to read better.
  • Shakespeare and Twelfth Night 

    • Submit journal for Act IV &V.
    • Submit Puzzle & review "quiz" (handout given yesterday) 
    • Character Traits - Choose one of the 4 main characters (Olivia, Viola, Malvolio & Orsino) and use the brainstorming sheets from yesterday to start to write an outline for your character analysis. See photo below for a graphic organizer that you can use for ideas. You will also be making a collage of at least 10 images that represent your character. Outline (draft) due Fri.May 20. Good copy due Fri. May 27. Assignment sheet tomorrow.
    • Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare - FULL Audio Book (Or, What You Will)
    • No fear Shakespeare - a post-reading resource to compare original and modern texts
    • film
  • Homework: Get in the habit of doing 20 - 30 minutes of English homework every night Monday to Thursday. Review lessons, extend your knowledge or read.
    • Journal for Twelfth Night Act IV & V. and
      puzzle/quiz handout. Due Wed May 18.
    • Independent reading. Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your classwork early. Read regularly at home.
