- Upcoming work/assessments:
- le subjonctif - la formation - quiz le mercredi 23 mai, other quizzes and summative test to follow. Finish and check handouts and complete summary note (preferably done as a mind-map).
- La Route de Chlifa/Incendies - we started a written report/reaction. We will be watching the DVD Incendies on Thurs. May 24 & Fri May 25. Details:
- written opinion 1 - 1 1/2 pgs tapés, 2 pgs écrits à double interligne
- worked on ideas, planning in groups
- brouillon (on own) dû le mercredi 30 mai
- bonne copie dû le vendredi 1er juin
- la présentation orale - culminating. Introduced on Fri. May 18. Will be due week of June 11-15. Topic - your choice. Format - your choice (i.e. discours formel, PowerPoint, Prezzi, video, etc.). Length - 2 min. May do with a partner - 3 1/2 - 4 min. Objective - show what learned this year. Also will submit written outline.

- le but d'apprentissage: Comment mieux écouter le français.
- Speaking: Puis-je t'interviewer? Used red handout from last week to do informal interviews with favourite monsters.
- le pronom d'objet direct: lesson (reviewed le pronom sujet), discussion, note on board, textbook pgs. 117 - 118, examples, 2 listening activites, introduced written activities (handout) to be done tomorrow in class.
- les devoirs: Review le pronom d'objet direct & le pronom sujet.
- le but d'apprentissage: Comment éviter la répétition.
- Speaking activity: Qu'est-ce que tu as fait pendant la longue fin de semaine?
- les pronoms sujets et réfléchis et personnels, les pronoms d'objets directs et indirects - lesson, note, discussion, examples, order of pronouns, oral practice cards with score sheet - test at end of next week.
- le poème - worked on ideas.
- les devoirs: Finish note on les pronoms and review. Work on ideas for poem.
