le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux lire.
  • Watched Stromae: On danse  
  • checked and corrected les adjectifs possessifs from Friday.
  • Cyrano de Bergerac: Acte I, scenes 2 & 3 - read together dramatically.  Discussed.  Re-read at home for better understanding.  
  • les devoirs:  Should be spending about 20 min a day on review/finishing work.
    • re-read Cyrano de Bergerac Acte 1, scenes 2 & 3.
    • Finish puzzle: les Fetes if not already done.
    • journal/blog entry for this week - suggested topics: septembre, l'automne ou le football
    • Students are always encouraged to watch a favourite DVD in French (no subtitles), play some French games on internet, do Duolingo , watch French TV, read a blog entry & write a positive comment from your class blog network, read some French articles, magazines, books or newspapers (hard copy or on-line), practice numbers or review some French.

        • Read choice of 3 different articles from Nouvelles Frontières 10e: Les Parfums, Le soin des animaux sauvages, Le Calendrier - in groups and did As-tu compris questions orally (with brief notes).  If time, chose an expansion question to discuss (in French!).
