le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous parlons des réglements de notre classe.
- Discussed why not to use Google translate (or other computer translation tools) and watched video Wrecking Ball - parody using Google Translate Use WordReference on-line dictionary & Linguee on-line dictionary (good for expressions) & Bescherelle (verb conjugations).
- did activity "Soyez respectueux - comment le montrer" to set the norms of our class. We will complete and present the posters tomorrow.
- We will be doing an assessment activity "Parler de moi-même" where students will introduce themselves by speaking and recording next week. Students should begin thinking about what they will say and make brief notes in French. We will discuss it in more detail tomorrow and will have time to work in class.

- think and write a few notes about yourself for your spoken introduction next week.
