  • Talked about student responsibilities for learning and how my blog can help, especially if absent or to consolidate and extend your learning. Watched Ma France - Arrangements video A explored the activities and played the Pétanque game.
  • Played Kahoot - les nombres
  • blog/journal - suggested topics this week -  une réfléxion du mi-semestre, un critique du film Coraline (brief summary and your opinion)
  • Checked and corrected le Diefenbunker - article and dictionary skills
  • reading and discussion in small groups: Pourquoi parler français? livre pgs.30-31 Why speak French?
  • les devoirs: Students should be doing 20 minutes or so of home study each evening Mon - Thurs.

  • Played Kahoot - les nombres
  • blog/journal - suggested topic this week - une réfléxion du mi-semestre
  • l'imparfait - handout - la formation, action (le passé composé) vs. description (l'imparfait) - reviewed lesson from Monday, checked and corrected handout. See photos below for answer keys. Quiz tomorrow similar to handout of action vs. description. 
  • Notre-Dame de Paris - chapitre 9, le dernier chapitre - read together with CD. Corrected and discussed questions together. 
    • Introduced 2 assessments - oral - will be comparing the book we read with the Disney film. We will start watching the film tomorrow in class and will be taking notes on a Venn diagram. 
    • Written - will be writing a newspaper article. Started identifying major events of the book as possible articles. 
    • Groups started generating multiple choice questions to create a Kahoot game. 2 - 3 questions per group. Due next week.

    • le passé composé/l'imparfait - Quiz tomorrow.
