- Finish cahier handout pg. 57 Partie B - personalizing your morning routine using sentences from Tony's day and reading & circling cahier pg.56 (period 3 - not done in class because of fire drill).
- blog/journal entry for this week - if not already done - suggested topics this week -un critique du film le Bossu de Notre-Dame - or - une réfléxion de faire un blogue (if this is your 10th entry). le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment écrire un article du journal et comment comparer deux versions d'une histoire.
- 4-1-1 activity - 4 things you like about our class, 1 thing you don't (be honest but not cruel) and 1 thing you will do to improve our class (personal action, not what you want someone else to do) - anonymous or can sign paper. Should be written in French.
- le passé composé et l'imparfait - Students will be using the past tenses in their newspaper article as correctly as possible. There will be practice activities and a test next week - May 14.
- Notre-Dame de Paris - newspaper articles.
- Checked draft. Some class time given to work on draft. It is due today Tuesday May 5. Follow guidelines on handout from Tuesday April 28. May use real newspapers as models and poster on bulletin board in classroom. Should be written on every other line to allow space for revision and additions. Students are encouraged to write using the computer if possible. We will be in the computer lab tomorrow Wed. May 6 to work on the good copy. Will be handing in all parts of the assignment - good copy, draft with revisions, la liste de contrôle, le gabarit, le remue-méninges et la grille d'évaluation. See photos for a rough visual model.
