learning goal: We are learning about a film adaptation of Shakespeare.
- Comparative Essay: good copy due yesterday. Is now late and required to hand in a late explanation note signed by parent/guardian. See previous posts for details of the assignment.
- Shakespeare - Handout package: Film adaptation: Romeo and Juliet. Continued checking and correcting it today. Finished: “Mechanics and Design” and #1 - 2 of “Usage and Style” - Finish #3, read #4 and do #5 of Usage and Style for homework if not already done and “Word Study and Spelling”.
- Homework :
- Review and add to your discussion notes for the handout package about Romeo and Juliet and your notes from watching the film. Follow guidelines from last week - was due Monday and many students did not finish. Finish #3, read #4 and do #5 of Usage and Style for homework if not already done and “Word Study and Spelling”.
- Comparative Essay - Good copy (including cover page and all draft work and ideas) overdue. See above for details.
- Bring a book to read quietly in class for any time that you finish your class work early. Read regularly at home.
