le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment exprimer nos préférences.
  • blog/journal - suggested topic this week - Mes projets pour le relâche de mars - le futur proche - aller + l'infinitif i.e. Je vais jouer au hockey.  Moi et ma famille, nous allons regarder un film.
  • rechauffement - speaking sentences from homework (cahier handout pg.21)
  • écoute - livre 14-15, likes and dislikes
  • lesson - comment exprimer les préférences - verbe + infinitif & le négatif - discussion, examples, speaking, note on board (see photo), reading aloud, partner work speaking - creating sentences, used Venn diagram for ideas and added to it
     
  • les devoirs:
    • review today's lesson and sentences
    • blog/journal entry for this week - if not already done.  Should have completed at least 4 entries by the end of this week. See FSF 1D journal/blog or handout given in February for details.

      • blog/journal - suggested topic this week - Mes projets pour le relâche de mars - le futur proche - aller + l'infinitif i.e. Je vais jouer au hockey.  Moi et ma famille, nous allons aller à Toronto. or le futur simple i.e. Je jouerai au hockey.  Moi et ma famille, nous irons à Toronto. 
      • speaking activity: Watched The Piano - animated short , did vocabulary building graffiti activity, described film in new groups. watched again - worked on thinking about it en français.
      • le passé - review lesson - le passé composé + être - discussion, examples, created note together, SmartBoard activity "la Maison d'être", handout package - 4 pages - dû le vendredi 13 mars - written, checked, corrected - use answer keys posted in classroom and in photos below.
        • Quiz - le vendredi 13 mars
      • les devoirs:
        • Notre-Dame de Paris -ch.4 – re-read and questions ex. 1, 2 & 3 if not already done.
        • le passé composé + être - handout pkg completed for le vendredi 13 mars. Quiz le 13 mars.
