Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Home Alone

  • If done, Duolingo or FreeRice.com or Digital Dialects - games
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras

  • QR Code Scavenger Hunt
    • Download a QR Code Reader onto your iPad
    • Around the school are different QR codes.
    • There are 2 different routes.
    • 2 people will leave at a time with different routes (person 1 = route 1, person 2 = route 2)
    • Each QR code has the route number and the card number. You must stay with your route and follow the order of the cards
    • When you scan each QR code, it will give you directions to get to the next card.
    • Before leaving the classroom, make sure you write the time you left down and the time you come back to see who is the fastest.
  • La tâche finale: 
    • Complete Step 1 of La tâche finale.
    • A checklist of everything you need is on the HUB module “Les Directions” under “La tâche finale”. Make sure to complete everything on the checklist

  • L’impératif 
    • Slogans – With a partner, create one slogan using the imperative. Before starting the good copy, show Mme. Buckle your slogan. After the slogan is approved, create a poster with the slogan. For vocabulary help, refer to Wordreference.com. You will show the class your slogan once everyone is finished.
    • Vocabulaire: Download vocabulary sheet in the HUB module “Les Directions” submodule “Suivez mes directions” under “Directions Vocabulary” to Notability. Complete the English of each word. If you do not know a word, use Wordreference.com to search it.
  • La tâche finale
    • As a class, we will create a rubric for the culminating activity by looking at what the activity is and what you have to do.
    • Step 1: You are to create a map using the outline provided. The title of your map should be a Francophone city. Fill in the different places on the map using “Les endroits vocabulaire” and label each road on the map. Use your creativity when completing your map.

      • Imperative Examples – As a class, we will conjugate different commands into the imperative. These examples will be used for Simon Dit.
      • Simon Dit – As a class we will play Simon Says. Choose one of the examples provided on the screen to use for Simon Says. As a class, form a big circle. To play, each person will say their command with either Simon dit or not and the rest of the class is to follow the command.
