le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous travaillons les chiffres 1 à 50.
  • Bingo 1 à 50 - on a joué ensemble. 
  • Finish and publish 1st blog post "Bienvenue à mon blogue", make avatar and create circle of 3-4 friends in the class to follow, submit "Je me présente" if not already done, then, DELF compréhension orale - video et questions. Choose one at A1 level.
  • le film de vendredi: On Fridays, we usually watch a film in French with French subtitles where available as a part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Les vacances de M.Bean.
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras
    • Je me présente. Submit in Dropbox - must be submitted by the end of the day today. See previous posts and the Hub for details. 
    • Mon blogue: première entrée - Mon introduction. Publish by Sept. 30. See previous posts and the Hub for details.
    • Make sure iPad is charged and ready to go.

      • Auto-évaluation: les habilités d'apprentissage et les habitudes de travail - preliminary
      • Bingo 1 à 50 - on crée des cartes. Create Bingo card on Notability - demonstration. Be sure to choose numbers that will work for the game i.e. B - 1-10, I - 11-20, N - 21-30, G - 31-40, O - 41-50  et Gratuit  Here is a link for a possible image template you can use if you wish. You can also use the "paper" button in Notability and choose graph paper.

      • Special activity morning for all grade 9 students. 
      • Period 4: Started with reading the Site du Jour 11 Interesting Facts About French (Infographic) 
        • Signed in at Kahoot.it and played 2 games les nombres - french numbers and French numbers 0-100
        • then created an account at  DELF compréhension orale at the tab "Inscription" at the far right to track progress. Chose 1 of these videos at A1 level and did the questions.
        • Explored my blog post "Home Study extras" linked in les devoirs then chose an activity to do. You may wish to do Duolingo, or French Class Lite, or try Freerice.com. You must be doing French for the entire period, so find a new activity if you need a change. 
        • Must complete your own blog post and submit "Je me présente by end of day tomorrow.
      • les devoirs: Should be spending 15 - 20 minutes daily on French home study Monday through Thursday. If all class work is completed, follow suggestions in Home Study extras

        • Rest of class: Do French - lots of choices of activities, including Freerice.com
        • Finish writing and publishing first blog post on HWDSB Commons. Assignment sheet is posted in the Hub. Mon introduction - write about yourself and your objectives for this blog. Make avatar and create circle of 3-4  friends in the class to follow. 
        • oral assessment activity "Je me présente/ Mon Introduction/ Parler de moi-même"
