Site of the day: French slang shortcuts you'll need to blend in

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous parlons des normes de notre classe.

• Finished creating and presenting posters "Soyez respectueux".
• Next week - oral assessment activity "Je me présente/ Mon Introduction/ Parler de moi-même" where students will introduce themselves by speaking and recording using iPads. More information is available on the Hub (D2L) and will be explained in class.
• le film de vendredi: On Fridays, we usually watch a film in French with French subtitles where available as a part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We started Les vacances de M.Bean 
• Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice. See suggestions below.
• "Je me présente" Collect some photos or images. 
• Home Study extras
• Make sure iPad is charged and ready to go.
