le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment mieux comprendre Cyrano de Bergerac.
  • Cyrano de Bergerac: Presentations (dramatic reading) of  Acte II scènes 1 à 6 & questions and crossword. There will be a quiz the day after each presentation of each 1/2 act - so, tomorrow for this part. Make sure to record tasks accomplished in the work log chart. We will work on #5, the adaptation, later.
  • les devoirs: Cyrano - re-read Acte II scènes 1 à 6 - quiz tomorrow.  May use note made in class today for quiz. Journal/blog.

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment introduire quelqu'un.
  • gave new reference handout - vocabulary useful in talking about monsters, then did introductions of monster to group - like at a party introducing a new person.  We will be practicing this more this week then evaluation on Thurs.
  • le passé composé:  corrected Test from Friday.
  • Mon monstre: Use handouts for ideas, planning, checklist for brouillon and rubric.  Follow directions carefully and help each other. Brouillon due Tues. May 14. Use reference sheets to help.

le but d'apprentissage (learning goal): Nous apprenons comment le contexte du film/livre Au revoir les enfants.
  • then did introductions of friend to group - like at a party introducing a new person. We will be practicing this more this week then evaluation later.
  • Au revoir les enfants: scenes 11 - 18. took up questions handout and handed in summary of each scene - point form is fine, one sentence or point per page should be enough. Complete summaries for Tues to hand in.
  • Finished watching film and short discussion.
  • Gave handout for questions for scenes 19 - 26 - questions and summaries due Wed. May 15.
