  • Oral skills self-assessment: in the HUB module "auto-évaluation", download the document "Oral Self Assessment A1, A2, B2-handout greyscale" to Notability. Start with the A1 page and highlight all the skills you can already do, then A2, and, if you wish, B1. Save this note. We will review it and add skills periodically and you can use it to set your goals for the semester. 
  • Mon introduction/ Je me présente - introduction to assignment. See the HUB module "introduction" for details. 
  • le film de vendredi: film in French with French subtitles where available - part of the Listening Strand of the curriculum and also for Francophone culture. This is not free time. Students are expected to watch and listen attentively (no iPads, no cellphones, no other work, no sleeping, no earphones, no talking). We are watching Moulin Rouge.
  • Pas de devoirs pour la fin de semaine as long as all caught up. Students may wish to do some review or practice, perhaps using Home Study extras. 
    • Do some planning for your introduction.

Learning goal: We are reading articles for interest.
  • Acronym poster: Due today - My name - descriptive poster. See the HUB module "introduction" for details and for the Dropbox for your rough work. Complete the poster in class today and submit into the green basket. 
  • Flipboard: install the app on your iPad and sign up and check your preferences. If time, begin reading an article of your choice. 
  • Homework: No homework for the weekend as long as you are all caught up. Make sure your acronym poster is completed and submitted.

  • Options:  Duolingo (sign up for an account, install the app from HWDSB catalogue) or FreeRice.com or Digital Dialects - games
