Today we had an assembly with guest speaker Dr. Nadia Rosa who talked about her experiences during WWII in a concentration camp.

Malajube concert today 10 am - 12:45 pm.  Students should have returned to class by 1 pm.
For all classes, students not going to the concert were given work to do in a classroom supervised by a teacher and attendance was taken.

Hand in personal Mandala - due now.  If sending electronic file (beverly.kukhta-jackson@hwdsb.on.ca) please name your file with your full name and title of assignment (i.e. Susanna Smith Mandala)

Journal/blog - due May 13.  Should have 10 entries of 8 - 10 sentences done by now (or 20 entries of 4 - 5 sentences).  This week's suggested topic: Malajube.

Suggestion to all students who attended concert or not - do some research/listening to Malajube on their website (http://www.malajube.com/ ), on YouTube or on iTunes.
