Malajube trip permission forms due by April 21. Hand in early to ensure a spot for this concert.

  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment parler des histoires au passe.
  • oral activity using passe compose & imparfait & present - "Quand j'avais ___ ans, je ___________, mais maintenant, je ___________."
  • Continued work on p.c./ imparfait handout from yesterday.  Check own answers from answer keys at back of classroom.  Prepare for test Apr. 21.
  • Continued work on Mandala - due April 21 - or April 26 if you don't mind homework for the long weekend. Can be done on paper or on computer and e-mailed to beverly.kukhta-jackson@hwdsb.on.ca.  Period 4 - gave details of project.
  • Au Revoir les Enfants - Louis Malle.  Distributed books and introduced by setting context, reading summary at back of book, watching YouTube movie trailer and began reading first few scenes with question sheets.
  • Devoirs: 20 - 30 min. - imparfait/p.c, Mandala, Au Revoir les Enfants.
FIF 3U
  • le but d'apprentissage: Comment parler des opinions avec le subjonctif.
  • oral activity: le subjonctif.  Handout pg. 240 activity "A votre tour".
  • Continued work on fiches pgs. 234 - 239 - le subjonctif - read, make notes, do practice activities briefly - aim to finish for tomorrow.

  • introduced "Jean de Florette" by Marcel Pagnol with distribution of books, a bit of context and YouTube to watch movie trailer.  Started reading ch. 1 with question sheets to do on own or in groups.
